Osthoffen, the first village of the Couronne d'Or at the gateway to Strasbourg, means "domain to the east". The origins of Osthoffen lie in a Roman camp that was established on the site of today's castle. This was one of the observation posts along the Roman road from the Vosges to the Piedmont. The Château d'Osthoffen is a charming blend of styles inherited from different constructions and renovations. You can spend the night in the castle's rooms and combine your stay with a guided tour of the grounds. For a taste of the region's quality produce, visit the former dairy and enjoy a brunch.
