The town of Ciboure, which was awarded the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label in 2016, has a very authentic territory with both this town centre with its traditional houses and steep streets, its Bordagain hill overlooking the sea and its large and very active fishing port. Ziburu (in Basque) contains many treasures including the Villa Leihorra, an architectural jewel of the Art Deco years or the Maurice Ravel house where the famous composer was born. The central square of Ciboure is home to the famous Café O Garra and other authentic bars. Further on, the auction market is facing the city. In Ciboure, the atmosphere is peaceful and restful, you can breathe here the pleasure of living, and you discover districts beyond the usual postcard of the Basque Country.
