This handsome public building, built in the early century, also serves as a painting gallery
Built in the early 18th century (1720), the Town Hall retains its paved inner courtyard and exterior balconies with wrought-iron balustrades. This handsome public building also serves as an art gallery. Local artists are showcased all year round in the waiting room on the1st floor. Ciboure shares the Bay of Socoa on the Bay of Biscay with Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the two towns forming the same agglomeration. The town is part of a community of communes, and has a population of around 6,870, known as the Cibouriens and Cibouriennes.
