Unique Art Deco ensemble with listed building and gardens
The mansion, a unique Art Deco ensemble whose building and gardens have been listed as Historic Monuments since 1995, was built between 1926 and 1929. Its location is exceptional: the villa, on the hillside of Bordagain, embraces the panoramic bay. Architect Joseph Hiriart, son-in-law of Madame Signoret and the villa's owner, was given carte blanche to build one of the most beautiful villas on the Côte d'Azur. A veritable "refuge on terra firma", translated from the Basque word Leïhorra, it is a veritable dialogue between sky and sea.
