Pasaia, the main port of Gipuzkoa, is made up of four neighbourhood villages built around one of the only natural fjords on the coast: Pasaia Donibane, where the old town and the restaurants are located; Pasaia San Pedro, where the marine activities are located; and the less touristy Trintxerpe and Pasaia Antxo. Perceived as a single city, these villages boast a common identity linked to the sea. This natural enclave of great beauty and romantic atmosphere also seduced Victor Hugo, whose holiday home can be visited. Most of the monuments of interest are located in Pasai Donibane and San Pedro.
