Located on the north bank of the Seine, in the Vexin regional nature park, the small village of Hardricourt smells of chocolate. And with good reason: the Barry Callebaut factory, the world's leading importer of cocoa beans, has set up shop here in the chocolate factory created in 1842 by Charles Barry. Hardricourt has also been awarded the "Ville Dynamique et Sportive" label in the "Towns and Villages in Bloom" competition, testifying to the vitality of its many associations. In terms of heritage, Hardricourt boasts the Saint-Germain-de-Paris church, worth a visit for its rib vaults (the oldest in the Vexin region), as well as two châteaux.
