In 2006, the small village of Le Bec-Hellouin was listed as one of France's most beautiful villages - and richly deserved! Of course, the presence of Notre-Dame-du-Bec Abbey, a spiritual mecca whose tall square tower with its unique architecture dominates the Bec valley, adds to its appeal. Its privileged location in the heart of the Normandy bocage and its old half-timbered houses make it a popular tourist destination, especially as the village is home to a number of independent boutiques. Also worth admiring is the technical feat of the A28 viaduct that spans the valley!
