Similar to other villages in the south, this small village of nearly 3,000 inhabitants lives secretly in the shade of its beautiful old houses. It is home to the Knights' Tower, an octagonal tower next to the Church of Saint Mary, the work of the Maltese architect Lorenzo Gafà, and the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, known for its many votive paintings by sailors. In the square of St. Mary's Church you will find the bus terminal, the police station and also toilets. Other resources, a few small shops in the surrounding streets and a bocci (Maltese petanque) club where you can quench your thirst.
