Zebbieh is a very small, very rural village located about two kilometers west of Mgarr on a plateau that runs from the Wardija Ridge in the south to the Dwejra Lines in the north. You could pass by without paying any attention. But it is very close to the temples of Skoba, a prehistoric megalithic site that provides information about the earliest human settlements in Malta and in Europe and that is dated to about 5400 BC. The red and grey stone debris found during the excavations also allowed us to date other periods of life on the island of Malta.
