In the pleasant central square of Safi, you can see beautiful buildings next to the church of Saint Paul, which dates from 1744, and in particular a 1926 building, a former Dominican convent, with its Victorian overhang. Other Mediterranean buildings are in keeping with the name "Gateway to the South" given to the village, located a few minutes from the airport. Safi now has more than 2,000 inhabitants and has expanded to Zurrieq. The highlight of the village's social life is celebrated in the last week of August, on Saint Paul's Day. For the inhabitants, this is the occasion to go on a picnic in Armier
