Villié-Morgon, a large and dynamic village and Village Fleuri is not lacking in charm. Originally, it was a hamlet, of the same importance as Morgon. In its centre, the Château de Fontcrenne houses the town hall and the wine cellar. It is a beautiful 17th century building, built on the site of a 15th century fortified house. This cellar, opened in 1953, is the oldest and probably the most beautiful in the region. Villié-Morgon is home to a community of Capuchin monks of Saint-François. Also worth seeing is the church with two steeples in Saint-Joseph-en-Beaujolais which has beautiful stained glass windows. Villié-Morgon is also famous here for its Saint-Martin fair.
