In this pretty little village, the winemakers produce Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly. Cercié-en-Beaujolais is famous for its production of Brouilly "Pisse-Vieille", named after a hamlet in the village. Crossed by the Voie Verte linking Belleville to Beaujeu, this wine-growing commune is a member of the Fontevraud Charter for the development of Mount Brouilly, at the top of which stands the Notre-Dame-des-Raisins chapel. In the centre of the village, a beautiful Romanesque church from the 12th and 13th centuries, built from a chapel built by the monks of Cluny. Family walk Les Lutins du mont Brouilly to do with children (8.2 km all the same).
