Quincié-en-Beaujolais is a small, picturesque commune where the following appellations are produced: Beaujolais Villages, Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly. In addition to a baroque-style church, there are three castles to be seen in the commune. The oldest is the castle of La Palud, built in the Middle Ages. The castle of Varennes, built in the 11th century and reworked during the Renaissance, is an ideal place to organise your wedding. The castle of Souzy dates from the 18th century. A certain Bernard Pivot went to the elementary school in the commune and still has a residence in Quincié... Signposted wine trail and the 3 châteaux trail.
