The village built on the hillside has the particularity of being in umbria, on the north face, accentuating the feeling of being enclosed in an impressive mountain cirque. It is crossed by the fiery Rizzanese river which feeds the dam below. To the north-east of the village you can walk down to the Ponte Vecchju (the old bridge) which crosses the river. Upstream you will find a beautiful waterfall and downstream two natural swimming pools which are very popular in summer with the many locals and well-informed visitors. After Zoza, the road climbs towards Sorbollano along the river: the place is ideal for fishing and canoeing enthusiasts.
