Travel Guide Zigliara

A typical village full of character, composed of beautiful old houses with beautiful vaults. An important paleolithic presence has been found, including lithic furniture, cult objects and various anthropomorphic works. Nearby there is also the spa of the Baths of Urbalacone, known as Tacana. In the village you can visit the 17th century parish church, which has a beautiful bell tower, classified as a Historical Monument. It is an ideal starting point for a walk to Taravo. At the exit of the village, there is an unfinished church of 1850 with columns and carved capitals, overlooking the valley and in the open air.
