This village is rightly considered one of the most beautiful in Corsica. It has a great deal of character and beautiful, homogeneous architecture, with high, narrow stone facades, exterior staircases, vaulted passageways and, behind the church, a 16th-century Pisan tower. In the center is a beautiful square with a fountain. The base of the war memorial is made of orbicular diorite dating from 1875, from a rare, now-depleted deposit near the village. The village is lively all year round, and in spring organizes an olive oil fair that attracts enthusiasts and the curious from all over Corsica.
