Perched on a plateau, near a wild and jagged coastline with some narrow beaches, Belvedere Campomoro is a village of classical architecture dominated by the Durazzo Castle. The small residential port of Campomoro has a few old houses and above all a Genoese tower at the eponymous point. Its fortified enclosure dates back to the 17th century. Listed as a Historic Monument, it is one of the most important Genoese towers in Corsica, one of the best preserved too. It has been entirely restored. Not far away, you can visit the site of the dolmen of Tola, as well as the menhir of Capo di Lugo and three megalithic chests.
