The park has many waterfalls of fresh water, tranquil natural pools and impressive caves (gruta da Bocaina and gruta do pe. Caio). To reach them, follow the different paths and varying difficulties. The information point has maps of the park. The Cascatona, a suite of waterfalls with a total height of 80 m, ending with a swimming pool, is easy access (3 hours walk).

The cave is 403 m long and is worth a detour!

This cave of 650 m long and 18 m deep is surprising by the space of its rooms, very high and luminous and the aesthetics of its stalactites is particularly beautiful. From Belo Horizonte, take 2 hours of bus.

A superb 998 m extension (220 m is open to the public), which descends up to 40 m deep. Stalactites and stalagmites, as well as rock cascades with crystal reflections. The main attraction, the two superb stalactites of 13 m high, intact, rare (one count only one in Spain) which took about 20 000 years to train.
