A museum in tribute to the Inconfidents of 1789, featuring 13 rooms richly endowed with a succession of objects from different periods.
Built in 1785, the museum served as a Chamber of Deputies and a prison. It was inaugurated in 1944 as a tribute to the Inconfidents of 1789. 13 richly endowed rooms: graves of 9 of the Inconfidents, a room dedicated to the hero of the Inconfidence, Tiradentes (we can see his cross of torture, his dentist's instrument, the book of condemnation of the martyr...), and a succession of objects of different periods: sedan chairs, tables of the XVIII century, solid silver ciboria, military clothes in court Beautiful wooden statue of Saint George, by Aleijadinho.
