A peak culminating at 1,810 m, in the Serra do Caraça, offering two climbing routes ideal for a guided hike.
Also known as Pico Catas Altas. To get there, a 5 hour hike for a distance of about 7 km is necessary. Once at the foot of the peak, there are two climbing routes. At the beginning of the climb, there is a small cave which, according to some locals, was home to a quilombo. The Pico dos Horizontes reaches 1,810 meters and is located in the Serra do Caraça. Along the way, there are caves, streams and interesting, even beautiful landscapes. The accompaniment of a local guide is mandatory.
