This village is a nice family resort, with many hotel-spas. It is located on the famous Sella Ronda ski loop. At the foot of Mount Sella, the Alta-Badia-Corvara area, on the resort of Corvara, extends to other small connected villages: Badia, Colfosco, La Villa, San Cassiano and La Valle. There are two remarkable churches dating from the 15th and 17th centuries: the Chiesa di Santa Caterina and the Chiesa di San Vigilio in the hamlet of Colfosco, which has a Gothic choir and is recognisable by its pretty bulbous bell tower. Steep mountain roads connect Corvara to Arabba and Val Gardena, but also to Brunico in Val Pusteria
