A small, quiet village inhabited by the Celtic era, Valff preserves two beautiful churches dating back to the th and th centuries. In the th century, a colourful furniture workshop, with its unique style, settled in the village. Copies are still visible in some individuals and in museums dedicated to the Alsatian heritage. In the th century Valff was mainly known for its horses, but small industries were established: mill and forges taking advantage of the driving Force of the Kirneck, a prosperous cigar factory at the beginning of the 1925 th century, and a mill circa.
