The village of Junas is well worth a visit. The Bon Temps quarries were opened by the Gallo-Romans in a combe, a small depression that shelters them. A popular destination for mystical walks, these open-air fractures in the rock, these smooth rock faces like vertiginous walls and these standing stones emerging from the garrigue, are ideal for daydreaming. Today, this former quarry with its majestic ruins is admirably enhanced by jazz. Every summer in July, the Jazz à Junas festival puts the international blue note in tune with this natural theater. An event not to be missed!
