A melting pot of Camargue traditions, the land of bulls and horses, Lunel is at the crossroads of Languedoc and Provençal culture, famous for its Camargue races and for its festivities, so much appreciated by the locals. On its territory follow one another manades, orchards and vineyards which give birth in particular to the famous Muscat wine. The historic centre is full of narrow streets where you can discover the town's rich heritage, from the vaulted passage of the Calandons, a vestige of the Commanderie des Templiers, to the Hôtel de Bernis, a vestige of the 13th century Jewish medical school, not forgetting the Notre-Dame-du-Lac church, rebuilt at the end of the 17th century
