The bases of a Roman bridge - modified to carry the present road - and the remains of the ramparts, in particular a Romanesque gate, bear witness to Boisseron's glorious past. Passing under the old village gate and going up its alleys, you reach the Castle of the village. Built on the site of an ancient Roman tower, it has grown in importance over the years. Saint-Louis and Blanche de Castilla, on the road to Aigues-Mortes and the Crusades, made stops within its walls. The park is 5 ha large and is rich in various species, with some very large trees including sequoias, an ash tree and a hackberry tree. Unfortunately its abandonment makes it look bad today: graffiti, interior and exterior deterioration, invasive vegetation...
