The inhabitants are sometimes referred to as "Schwedekorps": Swedish corps, because of the village's occupation during the Thirty Years' War and in reference to a Swedish count who is said to have owned property here. You can visit the church of Saint-Martin. The late Gothic bell tower (1523) features a tympanum depicting Saint Martin sharing his cloak with a poor man. The nave and choir date from 1766. And don't forget to climb the Wurmberg, a limestone hill with an uncultivated summit. The slopes are home to orchid lawns and particularly rare flowers. Numerous folk festivals are held throughout the year.
