The commune is composed of two hamlets facing each other, each one set on an eminence, and before its destruction by the Moorish, was a hamlet in the valley called Calcinaghju. Both have beautiful houses with beautiful porches. One can find the house of Monsignor de La Foata, a high noble house in Azilone with an inscription and a niche. In Azilone, one can see a church with a four-storey bell tower, and in Ampaza, a beautiful church with exposed stones. A path in the middle of the orchards leads to the ruins of the beautiful Romanesque chapel San-Salvadore. The tour of Corsica regularly animates this little corner of the countryside with a famous rally stage.
