Fozzano extends its beautiful characteristic architecture, stepped on a rocky spur. Here you can admire the seventeenth-century fortified houses of the Carabelli families, including the famous Colomba house, and those of the Durazzo family. It was a bloody vendetta between the two families in 1833 that inspired Prosper Mérimée to write his famous novel Colomba. We can also see two towers built between the 16th and 17th centuries, one of which is the Colomba Tower (historical monument). In the church you can see the Chapel of the Annunciation and its statue of the Virgin. Not to be missed: the workshop for making wooden objects of the Legnu Nustrale maquis.
