This is the birthplace of Sampiero Corso's wife, Vannina d'Ornano. The house where this tragic character was born can still be seen. Another fortified house, dating from the 16th century, was built by Sampiero after the Genoese set fire to the one in Bastelica. A simple village where you can find everything you want and love: fresh local produce, excellent charcuterie, pastries and cakes. You can also visit the church of Santa-Maria, originally Romanesque and remodeled in the Baroque period, whose north wall has retained its medieval architectural features. In the village, the Sainte-Lucie chapel is a listed historic monument.
