Located in the ^19th century château de Capdeville, this tasting and sales area serves as a showcase for the AOP Fronton appellation. Very aromatic wines made from a local grape variety, the négrette. Three wines for free tasting each week, nearly 150 references belonging to the different domains of the Fronton appellation. Hiking, music in the vineyard, exhibition, wine and chocolate tasting... Fronton can be consumed without moderation or almost!

Since 1883, Armagnac has been at the heart of all our attention. The wine selection is rigorous, from regional wines to those from other French wine-growing regions. Jean-Christophe Dardenne has taken over a farm that has become a local institution, to which Francis and Nicole Mauco have given its letters of nobility. The ducks are raised in the open air, then force-fed with corn before slaughter and processing. The farm offers all the traditional products and delicious cooked preserves, such as duck tagine with almonds, or the famous "chili con duck". The farm also offers a service of orders and online sales on its website, but do not hesitate to visit them.

Clos Triguedina, the birthplace of the Baldès family, is surrounded by 73 hectares of vines. The first plots were planted here in 1830 by Étienne, 7 generations before Juliette Baldès, who took over from her parents Jean-Luc and Sabine. A winemaker at heart from an early age, Juliette has given the Clos a bright future. The range of wines produced here is astonishingly generous. The cuvées subtly combine Cahors tradition with modernity. Beautiful, fun museum space and pleasant tasting pavilion. The benchmark for Cahors!

L'Ensoleillade is Narbonne-Plage's go-to caterer. Since 2005, Rémy Rodriguez has been pulling out all the stops to delight loyal customers and tourists alike. There's plenty of choice: from rustic dishes to the most elaborate recipes, from matured prime rib to paella, the famous boles de picolat, roast poultry and a traditional butcher's department. Mastery of cooking techniques, quality products (often local) and real know-how are the guarantee of tasty dishes. Excellent charcuterie from Aveyron and the Tarn. It's all good here!

This local hypermarket is particularly committed to the local economy. It has set itself the goal of always providing its customers with fresh, quality products. For more than 35 years, the store has relied on short supply chains. This commitment translates into partnerships with Gers producers, some of whom are organic, to guarantee impeccable traceability. The butcher's department is particularly appreciated by the people of Condom who are eager to buy local organic meat, matured in a cellar designed for this purpose.

Initially sold in pharmacies, Byrrh was soon exported beyond the borders under the title of "tonic and hygienic wine". This aperitif is elaborated thanks to skilful dosages of various aromatic plants, giving it sweet and bitter flavours, then aged for two to three years in oak tuns, one of which is the largest oak vat in the world: 1,200,000 litres! The cellars can be visited and as soon as the weather is fine, sound and light, dramatised visits and guided tours will tell you the incredible story of the Violet brothers.

A guided tour of this great cellar, which is a tribute to the work of men, is well worth the detour to discover its superb and grandiose tuns room, through which you can contemplate the immense two-hundred-year-old vats on either side. A must-see! The visit continues with a tasting of dry and sweet wines. By appointment, the Terres des Templiers wine merchant offers guided tours through the vineyards and tastings of great vintages. As for the welcome, it's impeccable, and the whole team is extremely friendly.

It is along the banks of the Rhône Canal that you will find this house of delights. In the heart of the historic center, the establishment has been selling and delivering fine tannic wines for three generations. Late Muscat, tradition, rosé, sparkling, in grape juice... Christine and Christophe, who both come from the gastronomic environment of Lyon, took over the village grocery store in 2020. You can find there a lot of newspapers, bread (on Wednesday), post office, French games, tobacco, gas, pizza, rotisserie... And above all a nice grocery store with local products from Aveyron, tome from Camarès, honey from St-Affrique, lentils from Lévezou, jam from Tournemire, shortbread from Marvejols, pasta from the Bousquet farm, charcuterie from Calsade, firewood from Tournemire In short, a "Swiss knife" grocery store!

Yves Thuriès, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, is known throughout the world for his chocolate sweets. You will fall in love, melt and enjoy his crunchies, fondues in little jars, chocolates in candy or bars - special mention for the dark violet petals -, spreads, caramelized rochers, chocolate bars and lollipops... What happiness! And to get out of the ordinary, take home the house specialty, Le pastel, which is an amazing chocolate shell filled with blue ganache and powdered with powdered sugar.

The Domaine des Longchamps is Toulouse's pioneer of organic food outlets. Don't be fooled by its small size: the diversity of products on offer will surprise you! Fresh food, groceries and preserves rub shoulders with food supplements and cosmetics that like to do without parabens. The baby section is particularly well-stocked and people on special diets will appreciate the many gluten-free and salt-free products.

In the pedestrian Rue de la Cloche d'Or, behind a narrow storefront, you'll find a cheese "palace" offering no fewer than 120 different varieties. Located in the heart of town, this family-run business has been a favorite with meat lovers for generations. Working directly with farmers, Boucherie Salles carefully selects the finest cuts of meat from trusted local producers. Affiliated with the Compagnons du goût, the shop window is always generously stocked with mouth-watering products, enhanced by novelties to delight gourmets. Products are carefully selected and recipes are devised while preserving the authenticity of each ingredient.

Magnificent residence, of regional and Persian style. A vineyard divided between tradition and modernism gives the best of its soil. The vines, managed in organic culture certified by Ecocert, are strewn with perennial flowers, lupins, fenugreek, oats, broad beans and other plants that transfer nitrogen from the air to the earth! This quality policy results in yields below the appellation limit. The king grape variety for Fronton wines, as for the estate, remains the négrette (called pinot Saint-Georges in the United States).

Careful you don't leave empty-handed if you enter my house... Kevin Gessler's. He runs the Domaine de Joÿ with his sister and also owns this cellar, located at the entrance to Nogaro. More than 600 references occupy the presentation cubes or wooden crates of this luminous shop. A real treasure cellar, most of the nuggets come from the South-West. However, Kevin also offers a short list of wines from elsewhere, whether from other French regions or from more distant vineyards such as this Austrian zweigelt. Homemade beers rub shoulders with wines. These are also available in 16-litre or 30-litre barrels for your parties. In this case, the filler is loaned to you by the cellar master. If you prefer spirits, here again the selection is very specific: gin and vodka from the Gers, rum from the Philippines, Japanese whisky or pure malt from Scotland. The Armagnacs come directly from the Domaine de Joÿ: VSOP, XO, out of age, vintage or special blends, there is something for every (good) taste and every budget. You can accompany your purchases with savoury biscuits or coucoucoucounettes from Pau, or one of the many delicatessen marvels. The estate produces excellent organic wines and also offers a 4-star campsite with unusual accommodations such as igloos, trailers and winegrower cabins. The friendly, family atmosphere is enhanced by the beauty of the surrounding nature, the varied facilities and the friendliness of the staff. Activities include river swimming and an evening "Wine & Cheese Tour" where the winemaker guides visitors through the vineyards, cellar and century-old winery on board the harvest trailer.

Created in 1895, the Maison Cazes has become the historical standard bearer of Roussillon viticulture. While remaining vigilant about the excellence of its wines produced with limited yields, it offers a wide range of bottles from Catalan terroirs covering 220 hectares, converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture over the last 20 years. During a visit, discover the warm and authentic tasting area and then plunge into the secrets of Roussillon winemaking, including a century-old tun room.

Created in 1996, this cooperative now brings together 34 producers from Larzac and Lévézou. With 49 employees, they process 4.5 million litres of ewe's milk each year. Their cheeses, with their regional characteristics, are available in several ranges. Tommes, pérails and melting logs are sold directly in the cheese shop. You can also find brousse and encalat: a kind of camembert made from ewe's milk and named after the curd. We advise you to try the latest product: the white cheese made from whole sheep's milk.

Awarded the Sud de France label for his rousquilles, with their subtle lemon flavour, André is a "bread master". He is at the bakery from 2 a.m. to make his breads and pastries. He makes all kinds of breads, specials, "tradition" with sprouted wheat and organic leaven, croissants and chocolatines with real butter. These men are the guardians of the traditions of our regions. André's book is a tribute to all those who pass on French know-how, which the Petit Futé wants to represent.

Corine offers you her numbered oils, like perfumes. The n° 1, extremely fruity for true connoisseurs, aromatic and powerful; the n° 2 with a herbaceous aroma, very fresh, and of great finesse and the n° 3, sweeter, ideal for cheeses and pastries, made with black olives only. Corinne also offers you her new "Passion Range", her lemons candied in coarse salt, her dried tomato caviar in olive oil, her black or green tapenades and her delicious olive jam, as well as soaps made with the estate's own oil.

Pastry chef, chocolate maker and ice cream maker: Alexandre has everything to seduce you! Join the Barrelle boutique, where you can watch the chef at work through the glass roof that separates the sales area from his laboratory. You will have the opportunity to discover his flagship creations, frozen entremets that come in original gourmet bars. Creativity and refinement can be found in many gourmet forms: chocolate bars, candy boxes, spreads, orangettes, coated meringues, ice creams... Go there!

The expression "good melon" came from the people of the village who kept repeating that the melons of the Raynal family were good. One day, Jean wrote it on a sign in front of the shop. The name stuck. Just like the slogan: We speak Catala. 80% of the produce on sale comes from the Raynal garden, seasonal fruit and vegetables grown using sustainable agriculture. The other products come from friends whose work methods Jean knows. When quality goes hand in hand with a smile and a good mood, you don't want to change the early bird!

A few kilometers from Nissan-Lez-Ensérunes, Château la Vernède is an old beautiful Folie du Languedoc, a legacy of the golden age of wine merchants in the ^19th century. Dedicated to viticulture since antiquity, the estate is now preserved by the^5th generation of the Ribet family in the person of Jean-Marc Ribet. Under the vinification of Mr. Maurer, an Alsatian trained in Bordeaux, the AOC Coteaux-du-Languedoc vintages offer powerful and harmonious reds, revealing nuances of fruit, licorice and sweet spices.

Jean-François and Laurence present highly aromatic, fine, elegant wines, made in the pure tradition of the region's representative grape varieties. This is one of the few wineries that is within walking distance of Perpignan. It is close to the city, yet far from it. The diversity of the wines of this domain is explained by the variety of the soils: the vines are planted on 3 types of soil: limestone on Calce, black schist in Espira de l'Agly and rolled pebbles around the domain. Finally, the other strong point of this domain is the reception in gites.

Guilhem Raynaud, an epicurean at heart, has set up his cheese corner a stone's throw from Place de la République. Keen to make the best-aged cheeses accessible to all, he offers advice on his products with friendliness and professionalism. His stall is a real place dedicated to local production and short circuits, and he's looking ahead to extending his range to include tableware items that will showcase his creamery products. To round off your meal in style, there's nothing like one of his platters...

In the middle of the olive trees, Sophie and Xavier Palatsi hold this vineyard with the precious advice of Jean Natoli. The estate, which extends over 60 hectares, 35 of which are vines, produces wines from sustainable agriculture. All have been Terra Vitis labelled since 2010 and benefit from the Pays d'Oc Hérault PGI protected geographical indication. Among the "specialities" of the house, the Jardin de Jules, a red wine; Jalade, a rosé; and the Cuvée Gatefer (red wines). Tastings and visits to the cellars are organised and guest rooms welcome you for one or more nights in the estate's bastide. Finally, a 250 m² room is available for receptions for up to 70 people. A beautiful place, delicious wines, pleasant rooms, a warm welcome... It is magnificent.

The Cave Arnaud de Villeneuve has gathered its oldest Rivesaltes vintages in the historic cellar in the centre of the village. In the cellar, which dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, you will discover the stock of barrels, but also the astonishing terrace on which certain wines are matured in glass containers. You will also find the very special atmosphere of a winery: the values of cooperation, solidarity, fairness, transparency, responsibility and trust.

Don't miss the typical Sunday morning market with its stalls of farmhouse cheeses and local cold meats, among other things, which will delight the gourmets. Benefiting from a prolific terroir, the market is the showcase of all these products with a privileged relationship between the producer and the consumer. Let yourself be carried away by the scents of lavender, croustade, walnut oil, but also foie gras, duck confit, black pudding, truffles grown (in winter) on the plateaux of the Causse, quince honey for jam!

Halle Marcadieu is a historic trading center. Having reached its apogee in the ^19th century as a crossroads for the horse and mule trade between Spain and France, it welcomed up to twenty thousand people at its "grands marchés". Today, it remains one of the largest markets in the South-West, attracting hawkers and peddlers. Its regional specialities and delicacies offered by producers from all over the valleys are a real treat for the senses. The market hall is a jewel of Baltard-style architecture.

Butchery and delicatessen, here you can also find poultry, a delicatessen, a grocery store and cheeses. It is a reference in the region. Jean-Claude Kouril is one of the few butchers who buys his animals from farms in the region (Hérault, Tarn, Aveyron). An ultra-short supply chain! The Kocel butcher shop also offers a catering service to order ready-made meals, aperitif platters, large salads and assorted meats. Another address is located in Vic-la-Gardiole (22 boulevard des Aresquiers).

Founded in 2009, Moulin de la Dentelle is a family-run business and Villeveyrac's first privately-owned oil mill since the late 50s. On 12 hectares, 5 of which are dedicated to organic farming, Muriel de la Torre strives to produce oil under the best possible conditions, not only from her own production, but also from small suppliers in the surrounding villages. Here, she uses oils from ancestral Languedoc varieties such as lucques, picholine, olivière and bouteillan. During the summer season, tours of the mill are available by appointment.

This bakery faces the Combalou, and offers an interesting choice of breads. From baguette to sourdough bread, corn bread, stoneground or rye flour from French tradition or Label Rouge, this house also offers all its know-how to concoct little wonders like its pastries, quiches, puff pastries, fouace, flaune or other delicious take-away food. Simple, good and smiling... The punchline chosen by this address suits it like a glove: "L'Espigal, the bread that delights you".

Éric Vidall has carefully selected his regional products: excellent wines, beer from Le Brasseur de Sommières, olive oils, fleur de sel, spices, locally-flavored mustards, fruit vinegars, artisanal jams, honey from Le Prieuré, excellent chocolates from Miralies, croquants Villaret, tapenade, saucisson, brandade de morue, various cheeses... All the typical products of the region, from the Camargue to the Cévennes, via Aigues-Mortes and Nîmes.

Small boutique stocked with products from the Les Bouriettes canning factory. In a charming setting, inside a magnificent medieval building, you'll find wines, preserves, truffle-flavored oils and vinegars, condiments, fleur de sel, aperitifs and digestifs from top-quality distilleries... For gourmets who can't wait for the fine weather, all the products on sale are available by mail order via the Les Bouriettes website. A delicatessen like a souvenir of yesteryear. A must-see!

The combination of the wonderful Mediterranean climate and the talent of the region's producers produce exceptional local products. These are sold in specialized boutiques and at markets. In La Grande Motte, shoppers can choose between the Wednesday gourmetmarket, the traditional Sunday market, and the night markets during the summer season. Any excuse is good enough to take advantage. Going to a night market is above all about enjoying the cool of the night, while doing good business at the same time.

LePerco is a committed roaster. Pierre-Marie Camper, the creator, wants to awaken your taste through the tasting of coffee that he roasts with precision in his workshop in Narbonne. All the coffees he offers are certified organic and are part of an ethical approach, from the coffee tree to the cup. The coffees bearing the names Sororité, Gamelan, Ponant, Nouvelle Fleur and Levant all have an identity, a typicity. Taste them at the workshop, at the Saturday morning organic market in Narbonne or on the online store.

Located in Narbonne's famous halles, Le Haloir showcases the finest cheeses from the region and beyond! Do you prefer cow's milk? goat's milk? sheep's milk? Here, there's something for every taste. Goupil has a soft spot for fresh goat's cheese and truffled Brie... Fabienne and Bernard Nabonne also offer quince paste, butter, Italian cheeses, homemade chantilly, fromage blanc by the ladle, and superb aperitif platters to order. A very popular address for cheese lovers!

Named after its creators, Agnès and Pierre, this workshop-boutique is above all a four-handed adventure. Both trained in pastry and chocolate making, Agnès and Pierre select the best ingredients and make chocolates and macaroons in a traditional way to achieve a result of rare delicacy and quality. Agnès and Pierre also make lollipops, marshmallows, caramels, and chewy bars.

Founded in 1936 in Limoux, Maison Bor is a renowned nougat maker. The factory has since been taken over and enlarged, and Maison Bor has set up shop on Place Carnot in Carcassonne. Here, at any time of day, you can enjoy one of their wonderful home-made pastries, accompanied by one of the 14 different teas on the menu, or one of the 10 exclusive herbal teas.
