Domaine des Homs is a winery that has been growing organic vines since 2006. The 20-hectare estate has belonged to the de Crozals family for three generations. It takes its name from the presence of ancient elm trees on the land, which have since disappeared. Domaine des Homs offers a wide selection of wines, all organically grown. Visitors can discover the different cuvées and learn more about environmentally-friendly production methods. For wine lovers and the curious alike, Domaine des Homs is a must-visit in the Minervois region.

Madame Crozals nous a accueillis dehors par un jour de pluie. Nous avons été conduits au domaine et avons eu droit à un aperçu passionnant et captivant de la vinification familiale. Le domaine produit du vin depuis au moins 1830. Parmi les neuf cépages dégustés, on trouvait du chardonnay, du viognier, du muscat (pour les "petites bulles"), ainsi que des rouges et des assemblages de grenache, de cinsault et de syrah. Un lieu absolument charmant et authentique, et un plaisir de découvrir un domaine familial. Aucune dégustation de vin n'est comparable ailleurs (et j'en ai fait de nombreuses en France, au Canada, en Californie, en Australie...).

Driving through the French countryside surrounded by vineyards it is difficult to not want to stop and visit a winery. Luckily, my mother and I happened to stumble upon a hidden gem. The Domaine Des Homs winery was an absolute delightful and unique experience. We were first given a guided tour by a wonderful hostess who was very sweet and knowledgeable. We were then invited to sample some of the wines that are produced there. I have never had wine before but when given a chance to try French wine, in France, you don't turn it down. All of the samples were very good however, my favorite was the Homs Petites Bulles. I would highly recommend anyone that is in the area and has free time to stop in and enjoy the experience.

My son and I just stopped at the Domaine des Homs winery. We had the best experience. Our hostess explained the wine making process (she spoke very good English)to us and gave us a guided tour. Then she gave us samples of their wines and explained the differences between each. All were good, but we both loved the Petits Bulles, unfortunately, it isn't sold in the US, yet. I will definitely look for the chardonnay. I would highly recommend stopping by for yourself, if you're in the area.

L'endroit est magnifique. Les vins sont très bons et Anne est très sympathique. Nous avons dormi une nuit.
