This town of about 5,500 inhabitants has a charming and well-maintained historic center. It is an opportunity for an interesting cultural stop. First of all, the surroundings are rich in remains from the Paleolithic, Bronze Age and Second Iron Age, attesting to an important population very early in prehistory. Closer to us, the church of Santa María, rebuilt in the 16th century, preserves an apse of Romanesque origin and a Baroque representation of the Virgin of the Assumption (17th century). We can also see the Sanctuary of the Angustias (18th century), which has a neoclassical façade and several altarpieces.
