The village of Camponaraya has been mentioned in ancient texts since the 15th century. The village is mentioned in the itinerary of Arnold Van Harff, a German traveler from Cologne and a distinguished linguist, who passed through Camponaraya on his way to Santiago. Today, the small town of 4,200 inhabitants, which seems to have been placed on the road to Santiago by chance, no longer has much charm. It has indeed developed on a model more practical than patrimonial. Therefore, you will find everything you need for your supplies: supermarkets, bakeries, bars and restaurants.
