Around this village of 1,400 inhabitants, there are a number of ruins dating from the pre-Roman period, probably forts dedicated to the defense of the region. The village itself has very little tourist interest, although the local atmosphere gives it a friendly character. Its church dedicated to St. Stephen is located outside the historic center, just before entering the city. It dates from the end of the 18th century and has been little modified since its erection. A notable change, however, is that its tower was completely rebuilt in the 1950s, badly damaged after being struck by lightning.
