It is a village of about 50 inhabitants whose 17th century church is dedicated to the Assumption. Inside, there is an interesting Baroque altarpiece, a Romanesque statue and a polychrome statue of San Indalecio, a missionary from the first century who is said to have evangelized the area before being martyred in Urci, near the present-day city of Almería. On the outskirts of the village, halfway between Espinosa del Camino and Villafranca Montes de Oca, you will come across the ruins of the Mozarabic monastery of San Felix, dating from the 6th to 9th centuries, where, according to tradition, the remains of Count Diego Rodríguez Porcelos, founder of Burgos, are located.
