It is a small village of about 50 inhabitants whose history goes back to the 10th century. The archives state that in the 14th century the village was bought by the neighboring village of Belorado, of which it became a district. Its small church, which is not very interesting for tourists but which can be used as a refreshing break, is dedicated to Saint Stephen. A few minutes away, we can also see the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de la Peña, carved into the mountain, which dates from the 17th century. The statue of the Virgin that is housed there dates from the 12th century. You can have a drink or buy a sandwich in the only bar in the village, located right on the N-120.
