There are encounters that leave a mark. This village of about fifty inhabitants is inseparable from the figure of Pablito, a local who has always carved the bordón (walking stick) with hazel wood to offer it to passing pilgrims. Pablito is without a doubt one of the most emblematic characters of the Camino de Santiago. Here, no monuments, but the pleasure of the conversation with this colorful character who will make you spend a good time. The setting is also beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and green hills, making the village of Azqueta one of the most pleasant stops on the Camino Francés.
