Ta'Xbiex (pronounced «tachbièch») is a residential area overlooking the bay, very popular, and its ancient carved stone houses are home to some embassies (Australia, Egypt, Seychelles, Great Britain…). The French Embassy was still there shortly before moving to a beautiful house in Valletta.
