The lagoon of Tesoro is accessible from the pier of La Boca. To be honest, the reconstruction of the Taíno village at the end of the tour (with some bohíos - traditional habitat - and 25 sculptures signed by the Cuban artist Rita Longa) is disappointing, but the landscapes crossed during the tour are the real attraction of the area. The universe of its atypical marshes is fascinating. To reach the island of Guamá and the lagoon, two possibilities are offered to you: a hydrofoil at 33 € per person, or a ferry at 10 € per seat. The mangrove trees and royal palms that line the canal give the area a unique atmosphere.
