Another pretty mountain village, known for its Narcissus festival. In June, floats filled with this flower parade through the town. This tradition is explained by its abundance, beautiful but toxic, on the karst plateau of Rocca di Mezzo. In order to get rid of it, before sending the animals to graze, the peasants organize since the dawn of time this white parade. The village is bigger than its neighbor and former rival Ovindoli. The two towns are different because of their plateaus. The one of Ovindoli empties its waters into the Mediterranean, while the waters of Rocca di Mezzo flow into the Adriatic.
