Located 9 km east of L'Aquila, Paganica was heavily affected by the 2009 earthquake that ravaged the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the two churches that pride themselves on the village, the church of the Immaculate Conception (th century) and the church of Santa Giusta (th century) are currently undergoing complete renovation. So we cannot visit them.
