This pretty village of character is the main religious centre on the island and hosts the pilgrimage of Nuestra Señora del Pino on September 8. You will discover old and picturesque mansions with many bright colours and wooden balconies that can be appreciated in its central square, its nerve centre. Composed of three wells, the main one, Agua Agria, and the mill in the middle, the Fuente Agria, or sour spring, is one of the most emblematic places in Teror, but also one of its main sources of income. Don't forget to visit the Saturday and Sunday markets to find good local specialities, including the Chorizo de Teror with garlic.
