This area is a huge tourist complex that goes from San Agustin to Maspalomas through the long beach of Playa del Inglés. In San Agustin there are high buildings with an old-fashioned style along small yellow sand beaches. Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas have the same beach and dunes of 8 km in length that go inland for over 1 km. This point of Gran Canaria is made up of 250 hectares of coastal dunes that can reach a height of ten meters. To the north, the dunes are bordered by the oasis of Maspalomas, planted with palm trees.
