Travel Guide Puerto De Las Nieves

It is the port of the village of Agaete, located 1 km below. It is mainly used as a departure point for Fred Olsen's ferries, but also as a small fishing port. You can also go down there to stop at one of the restaurants on the seafront which at least guarantee a nice view from their terraces. Nearby, there is a beach of black sand and pebbles. And you can also see the finger of God "dedo de Dios": a rock that used to emerge from the ocean, but whose upper part collapsed in 2005. It is also a sought-after place to stay with a wide range of proposals, belonging to all hotel categories.
