It is a rather indented and rather beautiful coast with a pleasant coastal road and villages with a certain cachet. On its eastern side, the bay is dominated by the Ghallis Tower, one of the 14 towers erected in 1659, under the grandmaster of Redin, at different strategic points of the island, which was then frequently attacked. In the event of an attack, information could circulate rapidly from tower to tower and put the entire coast on alert. At the end of the bay, there are salt marshes and, in the background, a small botanical garden, the Kennedy Grove, laid out in 1966, where symbolic trees were planted: the olive tree, the oak, the oleander.
