Travel Guide Nessa

A charming little village of Balagne surrounded by chestnut trees whose paved streets, colorful carved doors, baroque church and high houses make it a pleasant stopover. At the exit of the village, you can see the ruins of the Romanesque chapel Santu-Petru di Nesce located in the cemetery, as well as the ruins of a convent in the surroundings. The atmosphere is warm and everyone seems to know each other as in any authentic Corsican mountain village. Situated on the border of the Regional Natural Park of Corsica, the small village is a starting point for many hikes in the mountains.
