Renowned above all for its vineyards, Patrimonio is of very ancient occupation. Already in ancient times, its wines were highly appreciated. It is here that the famous menhir statue U Nativu, found in Barbaggio, is exhibited. It can be seen in the amphitheatre, which hosts the Patrimonio guitar festival every summer, where the biggest names in jazz, blues and rock meet. The village is made up of 11 hamlets in the middle of vineyards, and all of them have kept their authenticity. They dominate the western coast of Cape Town, and offer a beautiful view of the sea. A hike to the top of Serra di Pigno allows you to see both sides of the Cape.
