The village itself, with its small, flimsy bell tower and the mountains in the background, is very attractive. Remarkable Genoese bridge below the village towards Asco Stagnu and its beaches. From here, we enter the most mountainous part of this itinerary, with the Carrozzica pine forest, the Caldane plateau, then the Haut-Asco, at 1,450 meters altitude, with its pointed roofs of small contemporary chalets. A haven for birds of prey, where you'll encounter most of the varieties found on the island, as well as the largest territory of the famous mouflon, Corsica's emblematic sheep. Magnificent swimming spots all along the river.
