This small village, situated on a ridge line, overlooks both valleys and offers an unobstructed view of the sea. Most of the houses have been rebuilt on the ruins of "tower-houses", whose characteristic corner walls can still be seen. At the top of the village stands the listed Saint-François convent, with its centuries-old bell tower typical of the Castagniccia region. The village below, with its authentically preserved old cross-beam, offers passers-by its stone-built communal gîtes around a bell tower, a faithful replica of that of the convent.
