The village, nestled in centuries-old chestnut groves, is built in an eagle's nest. It offers a remarkable view. A picturesque path leads to the site of Bocca al Pruno, at 1,078 metres, a belvedere from which you can see all the surrounding mountains. The ancient Roman road, carved into the cliff face, joins the Bozio. A swimming spot is accessible on the banks of the Tavignanu, 10 km away. The old village of San Salvadore is served by a shady path. Its fortifications, proudly decorated with an ancient chapel, still bear witness to the Saracen invasions.
